The History of Jem-Con
Jem-Con started out as a one-off gathering for UK members of a Roleplay site named Rondaks Portal. (It's amazing, check it out! www.rondaksportal.com <-- gratuitous plugging..) It was originally known as UKPG (which is quite rubbish really!), but in May one of the three organisers died from a heart attack suddenly and out of grief and love the convention was renamed in his honour and memory. A new organiser joined the team and we determined to make it an annual event. |
